Short Biography

Noah is a graduate student in the Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at SDSU and UC San Diego. He received a B.S. in Psychology & Neuroscience from University College Utrecht (Netherlands) and a M.S. in Integrative Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Following graduation, he worked as a clinical research coordinator at the University of California San Francisco, working on a clinical trial on deep brain stimulation for treatment resistant depression, led by Dr. Andrew Krystal.

Noah currently works in the Interventional Psychiatry lab at the University of California San Diego. His research focuses on novel neuromodulation techniques, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), for the treatment of suicidality and treatment-resistant depression. He is particularly interested in studying the neurophysiological basis of these conditions and predictors for treatment outcome.
